SOAR, 2009 Paranormal Meetup will be on Saturday June 27, 2009 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.

UPDATE: COST will be $3.00 at the door. You will receive a stamp at the door that gives you access to all the days activities. Note: We try to keep costs to a minimum. This will help us cover the cost to rent the facilities for the day,

UPDATE: Location will be at The Bandstand/Gazeebo in New Richmond, Ohio. Address is: Corner of Susanna Way and George St. Right on the the beautiful Ohio River. Parking will be off Western, Veterans Way and George St.

There will be food, assorted fantastic vendors, a Historic/Ghost walk around New Richmond, Ohio at 9pm, and much more. UPDATE: Cost will be $3.00 at the door. Also, there will be raffle drawings for prizes that include: Ghost Hunts with SOAR, Paranormal Research Equipment, Gift certificates, an overnight stay in a Haunted Bed & Breakfast, SOAR Gear, and more.

BRING YOUR EVIDENCE AND STORIES FROM YOUR OWN INVESTIGATIONS. THERE WILL BE SOAR AND OTHER GROUPS THERE READY TO REVIEW EVIDENCE!

      “ Since this was the first year, I thought the team did a great job putting the event together. Would like to see more paranormal avenues at this event (mediums, psychics, etc.). ”

      “ We didn't arrive until 5pm. The man at the information table could not answer our questions. He was not informed enough about the event to be sitting at that table. The speaker on Big Foot was very unprepared. He did not know his subject matter well enough to be in a speaking situation. The New Richmond Historian should know his history enough that he didn't need to read continuouly from papers & note cards. There was no one on the SOAR website that indicated a $5 charge for the 9pm walk. That was a surprise to us when we arrived. That was one of the reasons we came. We did not bring enough money to attend the walk. ”

      “ A bit long and HOT(not your fault)! More variety of foods(brats, metts, salads) would have been nice. No beer! Beer in moderation is much better than soft drinks, especially DIET soft drinks(do the research on ASPARTAME). Rest room facilities close by was a real convenience. Chrome wheel rims? Thanks for the event. I look forward to next year if I'm still in the area. ”

      “ My sister and I had the best time. It was very organized!!! We learned alot, the walk around New Richmond was amazing! ”

It was definitely a little hot but we all noticed that quite a few people stayed for several hours and quite a few would leave for a little bit but then come back later! We had wonderful vendors and presenters and we are very grateful to them for their time and trouble. I truly hope everyone did have a nice time. Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
