Welcome to the official meetup group for the Chicago Paranormal Research Society. Were a local paranormal group that investigates local and state-wide hauntings and other paranormal phenomenon. If you are interested in the paranormal, or have experienced anything yourself, please join our group. The Chicago Paranormal Research Society is dedicated to professional and scientific compilation of evidence of paranormal activity, ranging from intelligent haunting to crypto-zoology. We strive to investigate thoroughly and objectively, seeking out all possible explanations before accepting evidence as supportive of paranormal activity. Formed in October 2006, we meet monthly to discuss and plan upcoming investigations, review evidence from previous investigations, and discuss equipment and methods for paranormal investigations. We don't charge for membership to this meetup, but donations are appreciated to offset the cost of running it =) Please at least RSVP yes or no- we all joined by choice, and we're all here to meet fellow ghost hunters, so participate! If you remain inactive over two months, you may be removed from the group.

Our June meeting will feature a special guest speaker which has yet to be announced. We will also be revealing the results of recent investigations that we have conducted as well as share our personal experiences and answer any questions you may have about ghost hunting or the paranormal in general.
